Siya namkela nonke!

Welcome to the Nyanga Children’s project blog!

This blog has been created to provide you with a continual update on our efforts to fundraise $80,000 in 8 months. Our 20 volunteers’ goal is to travel to South Africa beginning of November 2009 for a week in order to entirely restore and rebuild the Emasithandane’s orphanage in Nyanga, and create a new safe and comfortable home for 32 orphans.

    Hi,
My name is Carol, I’m 28 and I have recently moved to Cape Town from London with my boyfriend although I am Chilean Australian by nationality.

I would really like to get involved with some volunteering especially with children and your foundation was very moving and seems a great place to contribute.

I do not have transport as yet which restricts my movements although I have no problem with catching public transport. I am currently located in Mouille Point.

If there is any way I can help or get involved please contact me as I would be more than happy to offer my time.

    Regards,

    Carol
